I decided it was time to bring my curriculum to the 21st century.
I have been struggling for a long time to get American Hwa Rang into the world. After reflecting on the past and looking into the future I felt that the name was holding back this very effective and easy to learn art.
Even though it is rooted in the Korean Arts it has melded with techniques from many other combat systems and adheres to the "universal principles" of all martial arts.
With this in mind the name should not reflect one area of origin but encompass the ideology of combat.
Thus T.A.C.T.I.C.S. was born:
"The Applied Combat Total Incident Control System"
